“Thank goodness, there’s only one other car in the parking lot,” I breathed.
I slowly approached the pool praying it wasn’t some hunk that looked like he would be on the cover of a romance novel. Alas, someone else exercising in the pool, and it was a woman. A sigh of relief I exhaled.
Little did I know, that she would inspire me that morning, and not just to exercise but she encouraged me to participate more on my blog.
I treaded water for nearly an hour while talking with my new friend. I felt great. I was ready to get back to work on my book. I jogged to the edge of the pool and jumped to the first step. Coming out of the water I suddenly realized that the buoyancy I felt in the pool did not carryover over once gravity hit. I grabbed the railing on the steps for assistance getting out of the water. Now I know why a rail is there. It’s amazing how heavy that water in my suit made me feel.
I guess I need to visit that water a lot more than one time to get results…sure glad I brought two suits. I’m looking forward to bouncing in the pool again this evening.
