There’s something special about presenting my books and talking to
readers, but the opportunity to do it where you live is thrilling.
Earlier this year I have the honor to speak at my hometown Public
Library in Maitland, Florida, the town I grew up in, and now I’ll be at
the Roanoke Public Library on June 7th. I’ve lived in the southwest
Virginia since 1978 and am proud to be a resident of the Roanoke
I hope my Roanoke friends will stop by and say hello that evening.
Many of you have read my books, and I thank you for that. The
evening will give you an opportunity to ask me about my books, and
to learn more about how I got started writing. I welcome questions
and look forward to sharing my stories with you.
I’ll have most of the books I’ve written available that evening, and you
already have one, bring it along. I’m looking forward to seeing many
of my Roanoke friends there.
Thank you so much for your support and encouragement as I begin
this next chapter in my life.
